Background:
    Dan was a "missionary kid" growing up in Brazil where his family served for 38 years. Kelly was also a "missionary kid" in Venezuela. They are currently serving in Recife, Brazil where they helped start Koinonia Baptist Church in 1994. The church has grown enough to have their own building and has sent a missionary couple to the town of Ingazeira. Dan serves as co-pastor and heads up the building program. Kelly serves in the ladies ministries. They are also involved in Camp Paradise and a sports ministry with the youth of Recife.
